LDK slams the idea for a unity team

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Avdullah Hoti, has said that he considers the idea launched by President Hashim Thaci for the creation of a unity team which would hold dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia as absurd.

According to him, Kosovo has held elections and has elected its state institutions to assume responsibilities.

“Kosovo has its own institutions and today, in 2017, it’s absurd to demand a unity team. Institutions of the country should assume Kosovo’s state responsibilities. It’s in the best interest of the country for the coalition and the PM himself to resign, because they don’t have 61 votes n Parliament”, Hoti said. /balkaneu.com/
