Democratic League of Kosovo will decide today if it will join PDK in a joint government or if it will remain an opposition party. The General Council of the party will have the final say.
Leader of LDK, Isa Mustafa declared today that the meeting of the Council aims at deciding on constituting parliament of Kosovo as soon as possible and also form the government in line with the ruling of the Constitutional Court and the criteria declared by the president of the country and international partners.
“In this process, Democratic League of Kosovo has a decisive role. We will fulfill this role by discussing within the high forum of LDK, given the serious situation that Kosovo is going through. We also have the support of the European People’s Parties and USA, Germany and other EU countries, which have given a historical contribution in liberating our country and consolidating its democracy”, said Mustafa.
According to Mustafa, Democratic League of Kosovo will offer its leading role today in this process and in the governance of the country.
“As it always happens in such situations, LDK will put the interest of the country above anything else and will reflect its strength and irreplaceable role in building and consolidating the institutions of the country”, said Mustafa. /ibna/
