The large number of Syrian refugees and from other countries of Middle East that arrive in FYROM, continues.
Based on the information of the Ministry of Interior, around 3500 refugees have entered the territory in the past 12 hours, in order to then continue their journey to Serbia.
UNHCR office has also reported an increase of the number of refugees that enter FYROM. According to its figures, in the past two weeks alone, around 150 thousand people have entered the country.
This figure may be even higher, as the list doesn’t include refugees who have crossed the border without registering in the accommodation camps.
“The number of refugees entering the territory of the country is going up. All refugees who arrive in the accommodation camp in Gevgelia, are offered the necessary assistance, as they insist to continue their journey toward the EU countries”, UNHCR said. /ibna/
