Krasniqi proposes for the elections to be held in Spring

Pristina, June 24, 2013

The speaker of parliament, Jakup Krasniqi has proposed for the local government elections, which have been planned to be held in November, to be held in Spring. According to Krasniqi, given that there have been delays so far, it’s better for these elections to be held in Spring.

“It would be best if the elections are held in Spring. Given that there have been delays, it would be better if the elections are held in Spring”, said Krasniqi.

“No date is too late, but what it’s important is for the electoral process to be democratic. It’s not Dacic who decides about the elections, but the institutions of Kosovo and the president who will decide when the country will hold the electoral elections”, said the head of the parliamentary group of PDK, Adem Grabovci. /ibna/
