Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras continued their important meetings today in New York.
“We had a series of meetings. I think the most important meeting of the Prime Minister was the one with Vice President of the United States, Mr Biden, during which we discussed the Greek-American relations and the general developments in America and Europe”, Mr Kotzias said.
Also important, according to the Greek FM were the two meetings, related to the creation of the group of large and historic cultures that continue to play an important role today (GC10), and concern Iraq as representative of Mesopotamia and Babylonia, and Bolivia, which has 4,500 years of spiritual culture tradition.
Finally Mr Kotzias met with the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General on Cyprus issue, Mr Eide, with whom they discussed once again the Cyprus problem and the need for a solution that meets the security of all the peoples of Cyprus; a solution without anachronistic guarantees and foreign troops on the island.
