The Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias expressed his condolences to the people of Turkey, Germany and Switzerland and to the families of the victims after yesterday’s terrorist attacks, from Cairo where he is attending the 4th Ministerial EU and Arab League session (DP) today.
Mr. Kotzias condemned the terrorist attacks and stressed that “the Russian Ambassador’s murder in Ankara, would shock anyone who deals with foreign policy.”
“These attacks,” stated the Foreign Minister “demonstrate the fact that instability exists in the region in which the centre of stability is our country [Greece]. They confirm the need to pursue stabilising policies, above all against countries such as the great and historic Egypt. Everyone can understand now, what we have been saying for the past two years, that the stability of states like Egypt, as well as the end of the war in Syria and Iraq is the precondition to overcome current problems.”/ΙΒΝΑ
