Prime minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci along with other Balkan leaders, have held a meeting today in Berlin with the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, where they talked about the integration of the region.
Prime minister Thaci said that this meeting discussed the need that the country has for German investments.
“In the Berlin Summit on West Balkan we talked with chancellor Merkel on the needs of Kosovo for investments, the opening of new jobs”, said Thaci.
According to him, with the assistance of the European Union and Germany, the next government of Kosovo will focus on the economic development of the country.
“The people are tired of politics and our job is to focus on consensus for the economic development, rule of law, reforms and European and Atlantic integration. Chancellor Merkel will support Kosovo and the Balkan”, said Thaci. /ibna/
