In today’s cabinet meeting, Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa said that monopolies must be fought, as certain companies have monopolized the market and that tenders continue to be won by a small number of companies.
“We must be careful in terms of the distribution of investments, because certain companies have monopolized the market, while the rest is not getting any”, the PM declared.
He said that all ministries must make sure that private operators are treated equally and offer equal chances to them in the procurement process.
“These are matters that relate to the interests of the country and the fight against corruption. If a company is unfairly given a tender, then this is considered a form of corruption. In this aspect, we must offer equal conditions for all of those who have merits”, said the PM. /balkaneu.com/
