The European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn has visited Pristina today where he had a meeting with the country’s Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj and other senior state officials.
After the meeting with commissioner Hahn, Kosovo’s PM, Ramush Haradinaj said that the meeting was focused on discussions of European processes, dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and the tax introduced by Serbia on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Haradinaj said that Kosovo was obliged to take such step “following the numerous obstacles that Serbia has created for Kosovo”.
The Prime Minister stressed that the 100% tax will not be scrapped until a final agreement is reached with Serbia. He said that the aim of this agreement would be a mutual recognition between the two countries. Haradinaj said that he also briefed the EU commissioner on this. /ibna/
