Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa continues to ignore the demands of the opposition parties for resignation and for the declaration of early general elections.
Instead of declarations on the political crisis and opposition’s protests, he has counted Kosovo’s achievements during his government.
“Many of our partners are complaining that Kosovo has achieved a lot in the past year and that we haven’t affirmed these achievements. We have signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement, which enables our integration in the European economy and democracy. We have also reached agreements for important investments with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development”, Mustafa said.
Mustafa also mentioned the positive evaluations of international organizations for the economic reforms.
“The evaluations of the International Monetary Fund indicate that Kosovo has managed to stabilize its budget, in contrast to many other countries in the region and other countries. Social welfare has grown by 25%, pensions have increased by 25% and salaries have increased on average by 6%”, Mustafa said.
According to him, the government is making great efforts for the liberalization of visas and fight against corruption and organized crime. /ibna/
