Kosovo’s PM, Isa Mustafa convened today the Security Council to discuss measures against terrorism and violent extremism.

In this meeting, he demanded more security measures to be put in place by competent institutions.

“We will continue our close collaboration with the United States of America, with the European Union and other partners until violent extremism, terrorism and extremist ideologies which are threatening our way of living and human values are eradicated”, PM Mustafa said.

Representatives of security agencies revealed the increasing measures against possible attacks made by worshipers of extremist ideologies.

Minister of Interior, Skender Hyseni, said that Kosovo and other countries are taking extra measures to be protected by eventual terrorist events.

However, according to security experts, there are no indications that Kosovo may be target of a direct attack, but security measures must increase. /ibna/
