Minister of Interior, Skender Hyseni and Police Commissioner, Shpend Maxhuni, reported today in front of the parliamentary committee for home affairs.
Hyseni said that the ministry that he chairs has never received any information from the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), about the events that took place several days ago in Kumanovo.
“I and PM Isa Mustafa have not been informed on Kumanovo and the Ministry of Interior doesn’t even have an accurate number of the citizens of Kosovo who were involved in the armed clash there. It’s also hard to confirm which of the participants has remained killed and which of them has remained wounded”, Hyseni declared.
Police Commissioner, Shpend Maxhuni, also said that there’s very little information for what happened in Kumanovo.
He said that the only information that Police of Kosovo has received had to do with the identification of Kosovo citizens that the Macedonian police managed to do.
Maxhuni said that he had not been briefed by AKI on what happened in Kumanovo and like minister Hyseni, he added that he cannot confirm the death of anyone, until Macedonian authorities issue death certificates of the members of the armed group.
In relation to the raids taken place in the homes of the suspects from Kosovo who have participated in the armed clash in Kumanovo, the Police Commissioner said that “the raid has been carried out upon the order of the prosecution”. /ibna/
