In today’s meeting, Kosovo’s government examined and reprocessed the constitutional amendments which relate to the creation of the Special Tribunal.
Kosovo’s PM, Isa Mustafa declared that the approval of these constitutional amendments by parliament, is an important step for the Republic of Kosovo in the process of meeting the obligations that Kosovo has assumed in front of international partners.
Musta said that the delivery of international obligations by Kosovo in this aspect, doesn’t threaten the values of the war fought by the people of Kosovo.
“The delivery of these obligations by the institutions of Kosovo will shed light upon the truth and will be an important step for the Euro Atlantic integration process and at the service of the strategic partnership between Republic of Kosovo, USA and European Union”, Mustafa said.
Meanwhile, opposition parties declared that the Special Tribunal should have not been sent to parliament again.
According to them, this is a violation of the rules of democracy, because MPs have had their say on this. /ibna/
