“The approval of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro would open a new page for Kosovo and its citizens”.
This was said by Kosovo’s Foreign minister, Behgjet Pacolli following a meeting held in Pristina with the joint chairman of the European Council for Foreign Relations, Carl Bildt.
Pacolli has considered the condition imposed by the European Union on Kosovo concerning the visa regime as unfair.
“The condition that the European Union imposed on Kosovo, according to which it had to ratify the demarcation agreement with Montenegro in exchange of the liberalization of the visa regime, is unfair. Citizens of Kosovo, in particular young people, who make up for the majority of population, didn’t have to feel isolated and unequal with fellow youngsters in other countries. However, I believe that this agreement will soon be ratified”, Pacolli said.
On his part, the former Swedish Prime Minister has expressed his personal engagement and the engagement of the institution that he chairs for cooperation and support in issues of mutual interest. /balkaneu.com/
