NatEV team from Kosovo won the “Space Apps Challenge” contest held by NASA for 2015, as it prevailed against the Bulgarian project in this challenge “Robo Fabric”, which ranked second.

The voting ended during the weekend, while NatEV Explorer won 14 thousand and 582 votes more than the Bulgarian competitor.

The victory of the Kosovo team was described as a small step for Kosovo, but a large step for Albanians on the Kosovo Innovative Center Facebook page.

NatEV Explorer aims to register geological developments on the Earth through satellites, such as volcanoes, tornados, the defrosting of icebergs when they happen through satellites.

The Kosovo project won in a contest with 13 thousand contenders from 133 states. /ibna/
