Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa is expected to travel next week to Brussels, where he will present his new demand in relation to the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo.
He has announced that he will demand from the EU to initially grant the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo and then, within a two year period, Kosovo can ratify the agreement for the border demarcation with Montenegro.
Mustafa will demand from the European Union to suspend the ratification of the demarcation deal for two years and if Kosovo will not be able to deliver this criteria in two years, then the EU can revoke the liberalization of the visa regime.
PM Mustafa has recently declared that he has discussed this issue with the EU head of diplomacy, Federica Mogherini and Germany’s Foreign Minister, Sigmar Gabriel. According to him, Gabriel promised him that this request will be taken into account. /balkaneu.com/
