Kosovo will continue its cooperation with the IMF
An agreement between Republic of Kosovo and the International Monetary Fund is expected to be finalized in the month of August this year, says the outgoing minister of Finance, Avdullah Hoti, while stressing that cooperation with this institution must continue even after the creation of the new government.

Republic of Kosovo had struck an economic agreement with the International Monetary Fund in 2015 amounting to 185 million euros and this agreement expires in August this year.

This loan, Hoti says, will enable several projects which improve economic development in Kosovo.

The minister also says that besides the 185 million euro support, this program has also helped Kosovo to obtain low interest loans by the World Bank and other international financial institutions, the value of which has amounted to 400 million euros. /
