Kosovo President Hashim Thaci had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, asking for help in tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
With a post on Twitter, Thaci revealed his telephone conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, “to discuss bilateral co-operation and seek help to limit the spread of COVID-19 in Kosovo”. Thaci praised Turkey’s fight against the coronavirus disease.
“Kosovo enjoys Turkey’s operational and logistical support in its efforts to defeat COVID-19. I am very grateful to Turkey and President Erdogan for their support”, he added.
Kosovo confirmed the first case of coronavirus on March 13. There are currently 21 recorded cases in the country./ibna
