Based on a request from the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo and the order of the Court of First Instance in Pristina, police of Kosovo has conducted an operation today at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency in Pristina, where it arrested Ferdije Zhushi, head of this agency and Armend Muja, former senior official of UNDP.
A press statement issued by the Special Prosecution says that on November 14, 2014, it received a request to launch an inquiry against Bastri Muja, official at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Ferdije Zhushi, official at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency and Armend Muja, former senior official at UNDP.
The defendants are suspected of having abused with office, for purposes of gain in money from owners of private universities.
As a result of this, Special Prosecution of Kosovo took the decision to launch an arrest warrant against the three defendants. /ibna/
