Police of Kosovo have arrested today two people on suspicion of recruitment and financing of terrorism.
The first arrest took place in the area of Prizren while the second arrest was carried out in Pec.
The arrests were carried out following a raid by authorities in the homes and the business premises of the two men.
From 2013 until today, authorities in Kosovo have investigated over 180 people for acts relating to terrorism. Around 90 people have been arrested and over 40 indictments have been made.
In March of 2015, parliament of Kosovo approved a law which sentences those who participate, instigate assist the participation in foreign conflicts with up to 15 years in prison. /ibna/
