Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa declared on Tuesday that Kosovo has never been and will never be part of Serbia.
He said that the intensification of Serbia’s national rhetoric against Kosovo, is nothing new.
“These days, we have witnessed the intensification of Serbia’s national rhetoric against Kosovo. It’s nothing new, it’s only empty rhetoric, because Kosovo has never been and will never be part of Serbia. Kosovo belongs to its free, independent and sovereign citizens who have tied their fate with Western European values”, Mustafa said.
Meanwhile, Mustafa in a way admitted that he would allow the holding of Serb elections in Kosovo.
“I lead a democratic government of a democratic country. The government that I lead doesn’t prevent its citizens to express their will, even if they vote in the polling centers that will be managed by OSCE. On the contrary, we will enable this to them. But we will continue to tell them that their future is not the empty nationalist rhetoric, but cohabitation in Kosovo with the rules of the state of Kosovo, which are European rules of a democratic country”, he said.
Mustafa invited Serb representatives in Kosovo to collaborate with Kosovo institutions for a better future for Albanian citizens.
Meanwhile, the largest opposition party, Self Determination says that the holding of Serb elections in Kosovo is just another failure of PM Isa Mustafa.
Glauk Konjufca from this movement said in a press conference that the holding of these elections in Kosovo is a violation of the Constitution of Kosovo.
According to him, the current government is violating the Constitution of the country ans is supporting Serbia. /balkaneu.com/
