Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj has asked the president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, to report to parliament about the process of talks with Serbia.
“Perhaps it would be better if he reports to Parliament. In my opinion, the involvement of Parliament in the process of dialogue is important”, Haradinaj said.
Meanwhile, Kosovo’s Democratic Institute, which monitors the work of parliament, has also asked the president to report in front of this institution.
Bekim Çollaku, president Hashim Thaci’s adviser, says that the president is ready to report to parliament on issues regarding the agreements that are reached with Serbia in Brussels.
“Parliament needs to determine the frequency of these hearings, while the president remains open”, Çollaku says. /ibna/
