Prosecution in Kosovo has indicted nine people on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks in November last year during the football match between Albania and Israel.
Last fall, Kosovo police, in cooperation with Albanian police, arrested 19 people on suspicion of having ties with the militant group Islamic State and planned an attack in Albania and Kosovo.
Police said that the arrests prevented terrorist attacks in the football match between Albania and Israel, which was scheduled to take place in Shkoder and was later moved to Elbasan.
Meanwhile, according to the Prosecution, the defendants have responded to the calls of the member of ISIS, Lavdrim Muhaxheri, who was reported to have been killed in Syria last week.
Since the start of conflict in Syria, around 317 citizens of Kosovo are believed to have been involved in it. Around 120 of them have returned from there, disappointed with what they had to go through. /balkaneu.com/
