Kosovo nationals must not be unfairly isolated, says Foreign Minister Thaci

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci is holding a two day official visit to Berlin, upon the invitation of his German counterpart, Frank Walter Steinmeier.

On his first day of visit, Thaci met with members of the parliamentary group for Southeast Europe, led by CDU lawmaker, Peter, Peter Weiss.

After thanking them for the precious contribution that Germany is giving for the consolidation of Kosovo, he said that Kosovo citizens must no longer be unfairly isolated from the European Union. He told MPs that the future of Kosovo is in the NATO and EU and that society and political class of Kosovo are determined for this.

Today, Thaci will meet with his German counterpart, Frank Walter Steinmeier, with whom he will discuss over the possibilities of intensifying cooperation between the two countries especially in economy and foreign policy.

Today, Thaci will also hold a lecture at the German Committee for International Affairs, where he will point out the importance of cooperation with Germany, especially in the domain of the European integration and economic development. /ibna/
