Leader of Self Determination, Visar Ymeri has criticized the government for the lack of strategic planning in the economic development of the country. In a press statement, Ymeri said that public company, “Trepça”, which has powerful industrial capacities, is being neglected.

“Lack of courage by the government is holding Trepca to ransom. On one side, Trepca remained without investments and its production capacity didn’t grow and on the other, it was under threat of being separated by Serbia and liquidation by the Agency of Privatization”, Ymeri said.

Visari added that in January 2015, the government promised that it would bring a strategy and a special bill for “Trepca” in the first half of the year, while in August, they brought the bill concerning the Association of Serb Communes and Border Demarcation with Montenegro.

Ymeri also stressed the importance of mobilizing the metallurgic sector and the growth of the metal processing capacities in the country. /balkaneu.com/
