The EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue met today with the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
The meeting with Miroslav Lajčák was held behind closed doors, but Kurti gave details of the meeting via a press release.
The progress of the dialogue process in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the next steps of this process were the focus of the meeting.
PM Kurti reiterated that in the dialogue Kosovo is an equal party and not an issue, the reality must be accepted and we must be at the service of the citizens of both countries through a stable and functional agreement, which focuses on mutual recognition.
Relations between the European Union and the Western Balkan countries were also discussed.
In a post on his personal Twitter account, Miroslav Lajčák wrote that he had a substantive and very useful discussion with Albin Kurti.
