Due to the lack of programs by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which comes as a result of the failure of the new agreement, Kosovo is risking losing another 50 million euros from the European Union.
The EU office to Kosovo says that the performance in the IMF program is of a vital importance in evaluating macro-fiscal stability in Kosovo.
“The EU is currently preparing two programs from the Budget Support Sector to support the Reform in the Public Administration and the Management of Public Finances in Kosovo, at a value of 50 million euros. Macro-fiscal stability is another criteria in order to benefit support from the EU Budget Sector”, the press release says. /balkaneu.com/
