The issue of Kosovo is coming back to the UN Security Council.
This was declared by Serbia’s minister for Innovation and Technological Development, Nenad Popovic.
According to him, the talks between Serbia and Kosovo have not yielded any results.
“It’s clear that without the US, Russia and China, it’s impossible for Belgrade and Pristina to achieve compromise. The issue of Kosovo is coming back where it can really be solved and that is the UN Security Council where Serbia has its partners, Russia and China. These countries protect Serbia’s territorial integrity based on our Constitution and Resolution 1244”, Popovic said.
Popovic also said that it’s clear that Albanians do not want to form the Association of Serb Municipalities and that Serbia has the backing of several western countries on this issue. /ibna/
