Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj has held on Tuesday a meeting with the commander of NATO peacekeeping force to Kosovo (KFOR), general Salvatore Farina and the new commander of KFOR, general Francesco Figliuolo.
During this meeting, minister Hoxhaj has praised the engagement and contribution of general Farina during his mission to Kosovo, by thanking him for his work. He has also welcomed and congratulated the new commander of KFOR, general Figliuolo.
The head of the Kosovar diplomacy has stressed the need that the establishment of contractual relations with NATO has for Kosovo along with the accession of Kosovo in the mechanism of the Partnership for Peace and participation in regional security incentives.
Current commander of KFOR, general Salvatore Farina thanked minister Hoxhaj for the cooperation offered during his mission to Kosovo.
Farina has also praised the achievements of Kosovo, expressing the determination of KFOR for the continuation of its mission in providing a safer environment for all the citizens of Kosovo. /ibna/
