Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj has received a letter from the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in which Mr. Kerry thanks minister Hoxhaj for the solidarity and support given on the occasion of the commemoration of the victims of 9/11 in the USA.
In his letter, secretary Kerry expresses his gratefulness about the contribution of Kosovo as an important partner in the fight against terror.
Secretary Kerry says that “the 13th anniversary of the attacks, reminds us that our joint fight to put an end to terrorism is an important priority.
President Obama and I have called on a global coalition in order to destroy ISIL through an all inclusive strategy against terrorism. We welcome the contribution of Kosovo in this effort, including the arrest of foreign fighters and their supporters and fight against violent extremism”, writes Kerry in his letter, expressing his belief in the continuation of the joint efforts to address regional and global challenges that the two countries face. /ibna/
