EU representative in Pristina, Nataliya Apostolova, declared today that Kosovo is high on the EU’s agenda.
“I’m excited to start this new duty in Kosovo. I’m here to help, but Kosovo must mark progress in the fight against corruption and nepotism”, declared the Bulgarian diplomat following a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa.
Apostolova said that the liberalization of visas is very important for Kosovo and that Kosovo must ratify the demarcation agreement and fight corruption.
Meanwhile, PM Mustafa demanded from the EU representative a bigger support for Kosovo in its integration path.
“Kosovo remains committed in its European integration path. The government is also engaging for dialogue with Serbia. But in this aspect, I demanded from the European ambassador more pressure to Serbia for the application of the agreements that have been signed in Brussels”, he said. /balkaneu.com/
