Kosovo: Duties on raw materials from Serbia and BiH are abolished

During an emergency teleconference, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti signed today a decision to abolish customs duties on imports of raw materials from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During a cabinet vote by phone, 10 members voted in favor of abolishing customs duties, while two MPs abstained.

“Tonight from 24:00, the six border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia, namely the border crossings 1, 31, 3, 4, 5 and 6, will open for the import of raw materials. After 1 April the Government of Kosovo will adopt another decision to replace 100% of the duties with reciprocity measures”, Kurti wrote on Facebook./ibna
