Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj is staying in an official visit to the Vatican, where he was received in a meeting by the Vatican’s Secretary of State, cardinal Pietro Parolin.
The political and democratic achievements of the country, Kosovo’s relations with the countries of the region and economic and diplomatic cooperation with these countries, were some of the topics discussed during this meeting.
“Kosovo is committed to advance its relations with the Vatican and Kosovo’s recognition by the Vatican is a necessary step”, Haradinaj said.
On his part, cardinal Pietro Parolin encouraged the people of Kosovo for peace, reconciliation and prosperity with the neighbouring countries in its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration. /ibna/
