Kosovo is at a crossroad, according to President Thaçi,  from a political and institutional point of view, because it is facing decisions all but easy ones. Yesterday, Thaçi addressed to the nation with a special message, stressing the most disputed issue, border demarcation with Montenegro. He urged the deputies to vote the agreement USA insists upon. “It depends on you to show that Kosovo Republic is a serious state, which respects the international obligations.”-said Mr. Thaçi. He added: “It’s up to you to show that Kosovo Republic is a peaceful state, that respects the international law, that aims good relations with neighbor countries, with not territorial claims to any state. Therefore, respect the state institutions’ agreement, which is in the best interest of the state.”The president warns that any delay would undermine European future of Kosovo and will break the hopes and trust for Kosovo nationals to move freely, without visas in Shengen zone. But this would be only the beginning of damages-says Thaçi:“If we fail to ratify the agreement, the establishment of Kosovo Armed Forces will be delayed and NATO integration of the country will be postponed indefinitely. /balkaneu.com/
