Climbers from Kosovo, Nazmi Hasanramaj and Arineta Mula of “Pristina Climbing Club”, have conquered Everest and raised national and state flags in the highest peak of the world.
The first exhibition ever conducted by a club from Kosovo, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, Parliament of Kosovo and several private sponsors, was concluded successfully after more than two months of preparations.
With a minimum budget for such incentive and with funds promised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pristina City Hall and Presidency, but not yet transferred, led the team to depart on borrowed funds.
With this achievement, climbers from Kosovo managed to put Kosovo in the list of countries which have conquered Everest. /balkaneu.com/
