The deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj has condemned the language used against the police of Kosovo by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and Marko Djuric.
Hoxhaj said that the used language is racist, chauvinist and unacceptable, while reiterating that Monday’s action was not addressed against the Serb community of Kosovo, but against an official who entered Kosovo illegally.
“The language that was used against police of Kosovo by the Serb president, Serb Vucic and the arrested official, Marko Djuric, is racist, chauvinist and unacceptable. This action was not addressed against the Serb community in Kosovo, even less when police of Kosovo is a multi-ethnic institution and many of its officers come from the Serb community”, Hoxhaj said.
Hoxhaj declared that police of Kosovo have applied the laws of the country and the Constitution and also the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels. /balkaneu.com/
