On Monday, Security Council in Kosovo held a meeting to discuss the security situation in Kosovo.
The meeting, which was presided by Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, expressed the determination of Kosovo to be an active part of the fight against terrorism.
The meeting deliberated the National Draft Strategy for the Prevention of Violent Extremism and Radicalism which lead to Terrorism.
Prime Minister Musatfa expressed the determination of the government of Kosovo to take all necessary steps to prevent and fight all forms of violent extremism and radicalism.
Mustafa said that the draft strategy consists of an instrument which addresses Kosovo’s engagements in this aspect.
Stressing that violent extremism is a challenge for all countries of the democratic world, PM Mustafa said that Kosovo is determined to be an active part in the fight against terrorism.
The Draft Strategy received the support of all members of the Security Council and it’s expected to be approved in one of the next meetings of the government of Kosovo. /ibna/
