Kosovo has boosted security measures following the terrorist attacks in Brussels, where over 30 people lost their life.

Kosovo’s police spokesman, Baki Kelani, declared that Kosovo police and other security institutions are making constant evaluations in relation to the level of threat by each criminal activity.

According to him, security measures in the country have been boosted.

“Given the recent events, Kosovo police has boosted measures in order to offer more safety for citizens and prevent potential incidents in the country”, Kelani said.

“In order to prevent suspicious activities, Kosovo police is monitoring any movement, although there is no indication so far for any possible terrorist attack in the country”, he said.

Meanwhile, authorities in Skopje and Tirana have also boosted security measures in international airports. In these premises, special units have been mobilized to prevent any incident. /ibna/
