The Central Bank of Kosovo says that bank deposits in Kosovo continue to mark an increase, although slower than previous periods.
According to the report of the Central Bank, in June 2016, the value of deposits in the banking sector amounted to 2,69 billion USD with a rise of 4,6%.
“The growth of the total amount of deposits is mainly dictated by individual savings, which until June 2016, it marked an annual growth rate of 5,2% (6% in the same period last year). Individual deposits continue to dominate the structure of total deposits, followed by business deposits”, says the report of the Central Bank of Kosovo.
According to the Central Bank of Kosovo, in the same period, business deposits have occupied 20,8% of general deposits of the sector and saw an increase of 3,7%. /balkaneu.com/
