Authorities in Kosovo say that they have not yet found a good lead in the investigation over the murder of the Serb politician, Oliver Ivanovic. According to these authorities, the investigation is intensive.
The Serb politician, Oliver Ivanovic was gunned down on 16 January in front of his party’s seat in Northern Mitrovica.
The minister of Justice of Kosovo, Abelard Tahiri says that Kosovo is interested on finding the perpetrators of this criminal act and bringing them to justice.
According to him, this investigation is taking place thanks to a joint cooperation with the Serb authorities in Belgrade.
“On 5 February, we have prepared a file with some of the requests made by the Serb government, as the victim is also a Serb national and Serbia is also entitled to carry out inquiries”, Tahiri said. /balkaneu.com/
