Kosovo and Montenegro to boost cooperation in the domain of security

President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has received today Montenegro’s Defence minister, Predrag Boskovic. The pair has discussed about bilateral issues and on ways how they can further improve through cooperation in the domain of security.

President Thaci has briefed the Montenegrin minister about the three bills that were voted in the Parliament of Kosovo which transform Kosovo Security Force into the Army of Kosovo.

“Through a gradual process, Kosovo Security Force will be fully capable of coordinating with the international community and as such, it will be at the service of all citizens and at the service of peace”, Thaci said.

The head of the state has thanked minister Boskovic for the presence of Montenegrin soldiers as part of the KFOR mission in Kosovo.  Thaci said that Montenegro is a good example for Kosovo and the region concerning the Euro-Atlantic integration path.

On his part, minister Boskovic has assured president Thaci about Montenegro’s support especially for the process of Euro-Atlantic integration. /ibna/
