Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has decided to allocate 700 thousand Euros for the negotiating team, although negotiations are now coming to an end. According to the decision, the negotiating team along with the other personnel who travel to Brussels, will use these means to cover expenses.
In the July 3 meeting, the government decided to “allocate the amount of 700 thousand Euros which will cover expenses for all the representatives of the Prime Minister’s Office and of the ministries involved in the talks”.
This fund is expected to be spent on tickets, accommodation and allowances paid to government officials at the moment that they travel in an official way.
Meanwhile, the Government of Kosovo has never made public the expenses of negotiators who have participated in the Brussels’ meetings, although the talks have started two and a half years ago. /ibna/
