Minister of Trade and Industry of Kosovo, Hykmete Bajrami received today the ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi.
The meeting discussed economic cooperation between Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Albania, especially on the work done by the two governments and the trade barriers addressed by businesses.
“Kosovo’s government is working intensively and in cooperation with Albanian institutions, have managed to solve a number of obstacles which businesses have considered as deterring for commercial cooperation, such as the issue of the export of milk, eggs, pharmaceutical products, etc and other issues which are in the process of solution”, minister Bajrami said.
Meanwhile, minister Minxhozi thanked the government of Kosovo for the commitment shown so far and expressed the readiness of the Albanian state to continue with the efforts of both governments to address any obstacle that makes economic relations between the two countries more difficult.
The two interlocutors agreed that the boosting of economic cooperation between Kosovo and Albania must occupy an important part of the agenda of both countries. /ibna/
