For the first time, Kosovo and Albania will jointly present their film projects in the 68th edition of the international Cannes festival.

Both countries will share a joint stand in the large film market in Cannes.

The head of Kosovo’s Cinematographic Center, Arben Zharku said that he’s happy that Kosovo is sharing a joint space in the Cannes festival with Albania and that both countries can present new works of the Albanian cinema.

Meanwhile, head of Albania’s Cinematographic Center, Ilir Butka says that this joint presentation doesn’t only aim to promote Albanian cinematography, but it can also be considered as an opportunity to identify international cinematographic studios which are interested for co-productions with Albania and Kosovo.

Kosovo and Albania will be presented in Cannes with their latest film productions.

This activity will also see the promotion of student films which Kosovo Cinematographic Center has supported based on the agreement with the Faculty of Arts.

The activity will also involve meetings with film institutions, film funds and there will also be agreements. /ibna/
