Kosovo’s Swimming Association has been accepted in the International Swimming Association (FINA) as the 208th member of this organization.

Although this sport is not that advanced in Kosovo, as of this moment, swimmers are permitted to participate in the world championship which will be held this year in Kazan, Russia, from 24 July to 9 August.

This was confirmed by the head of Kosovo’s Swimming Association, Ymer Rama.

“A few days ago, a meeting was held with the world association and we were accepted. The bureau has informed us that we were accepted as the 208th country. I believe that we will participate in the world championship in Kazan, Russia, which will be held in July of this year”, declared Rama. /ibna/
