The dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia must return to the parliament of Kosovo. This was said in the meeting hosted by Kosovo’s Democratic Institute dubbed “Role of Parliament in the future of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia”.
Self Determination MP, Glauk Konjufca said that the talks between Kosovo and Serbia have not been transparent and that Parliament of Kosovo has not been included in this process.
“When we had Prime Minister Thaci, dialogue went through the government. When he became President, dialogue goes through him now. Meanwhile, Parliament and other institution were not included in this process”, he said.
Meanwhile, PDK lawmaker, Elmi Recica says that Parliament must be part of this process.
“There’s no doubt that agreements between states must be ratified by Parliament. Parliament should be informed on any deal reached between Kosovo and Serbia and those who lead dialogue, must report in Parliament”, he said. /balkaneu.com/
