Kosovar film “Father” directed by Visar Morina will be shown this month in Belgrade.
Goethe Institute in Belgrade has selected the best films to be shown in the GRAD Cultural Center.
This film talks about Nori, a child who sells cigarettes on the street along with his father, Gezim in the ‘90s in Kosovo, where his father struggles to find a way to move to Germany and his son does everything to be with him.
Stuck between the desire to be together and the need to cope with this difficult reality, the relation between father and son reaches a point where nothing is like it was before.
This film is a German-Kosovar production and it has won several awards in great world festivals. /balkaneu.com/
