The next round of talks between Kosovo and Serbia, brokered by the European Union, is expected to continue tomorrow. However, this round too is finding Kosovo’s leadership divided. While the parties in power are calling for the creation of a joint negotiating team, the opposition continues to be against the way the talks are held, without an authorization from parliament.
European Commission spokesperson, Maja Kocijancic says that it’s important for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia to be intensified.
Kocijancic said that tomorrow, the sides will discuss the progress that has been achieved on the agreement for the normalization of relations. She has also confirmed that Thaci and Vucic will meet tomorrow in the presence of the EU head of diplomacy, Federica Mogherini. /ibna/
