A survey carried out by Kosovo’s Democratic Institute (KDI) shows that 60% of youngsters in Kosovo believe that the country is going in the wrong direction, while 30% believe that it’s going in the right direction.
The co-author of this survey, Eugen Cakolli said that this percentage of youngsters who believe that things are going in the right direction has dropped compared to last year.
Meanwhile, the report shows that unemployment has been the main concern for youngsters of all communities.
Among Albanian youngsters, unemployment is followed by the liberalization of visas, healthcare and fight against corruption. Among Serbian youngsters, corruption comes second, followed by economic development and religious extremism in Kosovo.
The head of Self Determination Party, Albin Kurti has ranked first in the list of politicians that youngsters in Kosovo see as a role model. /balkaneu.com/
