Kosovo’s Democratic Institute (KDI) says that the failure to form the institutions of Kosovo is absurd, it damages the state and that it’s been caused by the irresponsibility of political parties.
KDI officials have invited the political spectrum to form the institutions of the country as soon as possible, because the failure to constitute them has made citizens lose faith in institutions.
Driton Selmanaj from KDI, said that even though six months have gone by from the elections, Kosovo continues to be in a constitutional crisis.
According to him, this continues even after the political agreements for the governing coalition between the two largest political subjects, PDK and LDK. Selmanaj also says that the events followed the elections followed political and institutional crisis, damaging the state politically and economically.
Hetmir Bakija from KDI said that they expect the government and parliament to work with a higher dynamic in order to make up for lost time.
They said that if absurd delays such as the one in the past two weeks persists, when there’s a parliamentary majority, next year’s budget is at risk. /ibna/
